GreenPower charges are calculated based on your electricity usage from the grid, including Peak, Shoulder, Off-peak Usage, and Controlled Load Usage. The GreenPower Charge is determined by multiplying your GreenPower Usage (in kWh) by the applicable GreenPower Unit rates according to your plan.
For instance, if you are on a 50% GreenPower Price Plan and your total usage is 100 kWh, the calculation would be as follows:
Total GreenPower charge = 100 kWh * 2.2c = $2.20.
It’s important to note that solar export/solar feed-in, which refers to energy exported to the grid, should not be included in the GreenPower Usage.
