My experience with CovaU Energy so far has been very positive. I did an "Energy compare" on VIC gov website and found their price was good and therefore applied on line, then the second day I call their customer service number, Maureen answered my phone and she was responsive, she helped me get electricity connected quickly and sent email to keep me posted and follow up to see if I had any other needs. Hope they can keep electricity and gas price competitive.

Some dodgy operator tried to sign me up to Covau when it wasn't my intention. So when I received an email saying that an account was opened for me, I quickly called Covau's customer service line for clarification. Maureen was extremely helpful and understanding, and immediately submitted a ticket to cancel the account. She assured me that since it was within the cool-off period, I won't be charged anything, which was reassuring. Professional and efficient customer service from Maureen.

CovaU covered me! I recommend to cover you!I have recently changed my domestic gas service provider to CovaU. Their pricing was far better than other providers. I have found my interactions with them to be friendly, efficient and helpful. I must single out Mark A for his outstanding customer service. Just joined CovaU. Had an issue changing from the temporary password, Maureen was helpful with identifying the issue (on their end). Was able to log on. Rates seem good, we will see how the rest of the journey goes from here, first experience wasn't great, so hopefully its just a one off anomaly and it was a good choice to migrate, fingers crossed.

Good service from CovaUCouple of months ago I switched to CovaU because their rates for electricity and gas were very attractive.The last bill advised me I can have even better rates for electricity. I called them and the service I received from Ana was exceptional. She could not hear me at all so she called me back without any delay and offered me better rates. Maureen did an outstanding in job in expediting my transfer request for my gas account, given the dependency on my previous utility provider to conduct a meter reading. She was extremely pleasant, quick in resolving my query and very very professional in her approach. Uber 5 Stars for excellent customer service. A massive stitch up by their online system saved by excellent customer service.I signed up online for gas and electricity and mentioned the move in date, a day prior to when we actually moved in. However, when we were there with our newborn, the property did not have gas or electricity. When enquired I was told that the move in date was automatically rescheduled to the following week since I signed up online and that only signing up through phone call gets preference.Even if this was their unfair policy, I was not informed by any means of this reschedule. I completely lost my sanity since we were there with our newborn with not energy and nowLuckily Neil from CovaU customer service was so understanding and went over and beyond to get our property connected within the night. Kudos to Neil for ensuring it’s connected urgently and also for following even when it was late at night if everything is alright.Completely satisfied with their customer service but dissatisfied with their operations and systems.

The call centre staff seem trained to talk you in circles. They insist on up selling you no matter how many times you say no. Then they will call you again and again insisting that you requested to be signed up to additional services. No is not an answer they even seem to hear.Bizarrely, my phone identifies all of their calls as spam. It certainly feels as dodgy as scam calls.I am also certain they have sold my information as I received an immediate flurry of scam calls, some claiming to be from nebulous energy compare sites.I was also given incorrect and conflicting information about deals for bundling gas and electricity. Getting a straight answer was not possible.I will be cancelling my services with them and recommending that any savings may not be worth it for others.

One of the worst service ever enjoyed in Melbourne, I found it on energy compare Victoria government site and picked up the contract, then no where can sign up online but waiting for the call back, I have a property awaiting for the electricity and gas. After days of waiting, someone called me and repeat all the pricing policy which I read online already, I just asked one thing when it can go live, the answer is in a matter of couple days, then after 2 days, someone using mobile to call me and confirm the same thing with same answer of couple days, and then again couple hours later another lady called me, and to my surprise, none of the former call has been recorded within the system, same policy details again, eventually the lady confirmed the contract has been shifted to CovaU, so everything should be fine, other than never bother to send an email with confirmation and when is the date for activation at all. 2 days after, when I arranged moving in cleaning team to do the work, the team told me there's no electricity at all, then I called back again asking what's wrong, this time a lady give me the case reference number and her name, also promised me as long as I'm willing to pay the urgent reconnect fee, the connection could be done within 48 hours with no doubt. And guess what, after called again just now, the reality is: the 48 hours is business day, exclude weekend. So I shall wait again for the sake of urgent fee and urgent reconnect after more than a week waiting, without any email confirmation of contract. And all my fee based move in arrangement becomes a waist.So in short: discounted price comes with discounted quality of service. You get what you paid.

Customer service member Mark was very helpful. Unexpectedly, we had no electricity when we took over our rented apartment, perhaps due to a misunderstanding, when we ordered gas and electricity with Covau a few days before. We then called Covau again, and thanks to Mark's rapid response we had the power supply in place the same evening.It is yet early days to assess whether Covau fullfills all our expectations (day 3 since we moved in), but so far the customer support Mark has been very quick to answer our questions, and we have no complaints.

Ana was very helpful and patient in guiding me through the process of signing up with Covau online for gas service. As I had called outside of business hours online sign up was the only option at that time. The online process didn't allow me to request bills to be posted and Ana offered to track the progress of my account activation and assured me that she would update this for me. Now that the account is set-up I can see that she followed through with doing what she said she would do. So far, I have received excellent customer service with the sign up process

I contacted COVAU Energy in mid July to switch providers (gas) and I received an email confirming everything was in place and would be switched over. Fast forward 2 months when I receive a massive bill from my old supplier as it WASNT changed over. I called and my account is still being ""processed". I am now switching to AGL. Thanks COVaU you are terrible!! Waiting for customer service to call me but wow that is terrible service.

We signed up online when we were moving house, 3 days later it was still not connected. We contacted the service centre and spent an hour and a half on a very slow live chat, to be told they had to re sign us up again. We went through all the details, they said we would receive a new email confirmation which we never received and were told it would be urgently connected the next day. The next day there was still no email, and the electricity and gas was not connected. We had to contact them again, and apparently now they can’t even find evidence of our electricity sign up. Would not recommend.

I got cheaper price for the few 3 months and then it started to crawl up in price. Also when asking for assistance I had to rate Covau reps every single time.I got shocked after I changed to the new company which I have for new increased price. I had been offered around 30% discount from Covau but compared to the current company I felt like I got ripped off (few people more payment)Covau: 2 adults + 1baby ($100/month)New company: 3 adults + 2 babies + new aircon installation ($75/month)Note: I am also comparing Covau old price with the new increased price of the other company.
