National Energy Bill Relief
Package 2024-2025

The Australian government is partnering with state and territory governments to provide up to $3.5 billion in electricity bill relief for eligible households and small businesses.

ELIGIBLE RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMER:

All Australian households will receive a $300 rebate in quarterly instalments of $75 on your energy bills, there is nothing else you need to do.
 

ELIGIBLE SMALL BUSINESS CUSTOMER:

Your business could be eligible for a $325 in quarterly instalments of $81.25 on your energy bills, with an annual electricity consumption less than the threshold.

 

WHAT’S AVAILABLE IN YOUR STATE

QUEENSLAND

  • $1000 cost of living rebate to all households and $325 to eligible small business (energy consumption less than 100 MWh) from the Queensland Government active on 1 July 2024.
  • $300 for all other households with an active electricity account
  • $325 for eligible small businesses (energy consumption less than 100 MWh)

  • $325 for eligible businesses (energy consumption less than 160 MWh)
